Donated 60 sets of Garden Chairs to playgrounds around Seri Delima to promote harmony among residents.

The "Cleaner Greener Penang" initiative is the road map for the Penang to restore the living environment to deliver a cleaner and greener city, and improve the quality of life.

The initiative will seek to establish a tripartite arrangement involving the government, corporate sector and community to empower the community to work towards a Cleaner Greener Penang. The Penang State Government believes that the one year project of the "Cleaner Greener Penang" initiative must be people centric. It is a Government lead project but the solutions must come from community participation.

KULIM: The coroner's court has fixed July 26 and 27 for the inquest into the deaths of six men who were killed in a police shootout in Karangan near here last year.

Coroner Shamshol Azwa Martadza allowed the application of counsel R.S.N. Rayer, who is holding a watching brief for the families of the deceased, to fix the new dates to allow lead counsel Jagdeep Singh Deo to attend the hearing.
