GEORGE TOWN: To celebrate George Town’s living heritage and cultural diversity following its inclusion in the Unesco World Heritage List in July, the state government is organising the inaugural Penang Cultural Fest 2008 (PCF2008), from Dec 4 to Dec 8.

The event will involve collaboration among the state government, heritage specialists, non-governmental organisations and individuals, local and foreign corporations, artists, musicians and chefs to deliver Penang’s cultural diversity at its best.
