BUTTERWORTH: Renowned biscuits and salty snacks maker Kraft Malaysia Sdn Bhd has invested RM36 million in a new facility in Perai that will produce 50% of its domestic biscuit demand in 2009.

The facility in Perai, located on 26,000 sq metres of land, is the largest of its three factories in Malaysia. Its factory in Johor Bahru produces 50% of domestic biscuit demand while another facility located adjacent to the new factory in Perai produces its salty snacks.
