Penang to blacklist contractors who snub locals

GEORGE TOWN: Contractors who do not give priority to locals when hiring workers will be blacklisted by the state government.
Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said the state had issued this directive to the contractors after having received several complaints from locals who were unemployed.

The directive takes effect immediately.
