GEORGE TOWN: The Penang state government will review the current low-cost housing mechanism and work towards the setting up of a housing development board in a bid to provide quality homes to those from the lower income group.
Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said on May 19 public housing in Malaysia was stigmatised and conjured images of congestion, crime-prone and low quality housing.
